Updated for compatibility with Mac OS X 10.7 Lion. OmniGraphSketcher is a simple little program to quickly generate graphs of imported data. Overall, we'd suggest using it as an alternative to the ugly graphs that Excel tends to generate. In comparison, Graph Sketcher makes them elegant and sober. Overall, OmniGraphSketcher is an enjoyable program to work with, but it remains very basic.Don't expect to create more complex, equation based graphs with it. The data inspector window in OmniGraphSketcher will also let you look into the data selected to create your graphs. We also quite liked being able to export to PDF or JPG, although it would have been nice to have a wider choice of formats. OmniGraphSketcher lets you take any numbers, just by copying and pasting, and turn them into clear and elegant graphs very quickly. You can add plot points to illustrate sections of your graphs and colour in or shade areas you want to emphasize. If created well they can really enhance the message you are trying to convey. Graphs are a powerful way of showing data to people.
